This post was inspired by another post I read about text adventure games. SOrry about the spelling, I was kind of in a hurry to write this. Growing up in the ages of segga, super nintindo, and play station 2, I used to be able to play video games back when games were mor simple, and the less detail in graphics strangely allowed me to see mor. But as systems became mor powerful and gamers wanted mor, I had issues keeping track of everything happening on the screen, and so after my xbox 360 melted, I was truly unable to keep up with things. I used to mud, but its just not a fun place to be anymore, see my post on the text adventures thread. I have been digging through the app store, gaming websights, you name it for accessable games with substance. a game with a large world, or a diverse array of mission types, or a deep story line, or even graphics damnit! But I can't find anything beond simply text where choosing options listed on a screen . Even iOS gaming has become very big, but choice of games? doesn't do it for me. Blind fold games, doesn't do it for me. I loved solara, but they shut down the servers before I could get back into it and finish the game. I found a sort of accessable final fanticy game for ios, but an update really broke voice over support. does anyone have any suggestions from an old gamer who really wants it back?
I want my kitchensinc games back. I used to play those games with family, and can't get it figured how you separate their games, from the rest of the computer.
Blessings,

Man I wwanna drive me some truck
even those don't do it for me. if you like them cool, but they are just, so, simple.
really? I've never played kitchensinc games so can't say if they're good or not.
I, too, have lost interest in mudding and the kind of 'choose-options' type games for the web browser, and returned my attention to the in-person games like D&D. I recently learned of a wide-spread group for organized play, called the Pathfinder Society. My husband has been playing for a while, I have finally joined him. All the Pathfinder materials are available as 'pdf' files at reasonable cost, from Paizo Publications. If you find a Pathfinder Society chapter in your area, I urge you to give it a try.
